Chloropure® Electrolyzer

The electrolyzer consists of a set of bipolar electrodes in the form of blades arranged horizontally to constitute a series of cells enclosed in a highly resistant electrical insulating horizontal shell.
Anodes are of a ceramic noble metal coating on a titanium structure, while cathodes are of specially treated titanium to minimize scale formation.
The high mechanical stability of the blade shaped electrodes, which are anodic on both sides of one end and cathodic on both sides of the opposite end, and the electrolyzer structure, which resembles a shell & tube floating head type heat exchanger, make the assembly, disassembly and maintenance of the cell extremely simple. A large space is provided below the electrode of each cell to collect insoluble matter (sand, scale, etc.) thus eliminating the need of opening the electrolyzer.
A uniform flow of the electrolyte through the electrode assembly, where hydrogen separation occurs in each cell of the electrolyzer, promotes the desired reactions versus secondary phenomena, optimizing the process efficiency and reducing voltage.
